In short: Snipit collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
1. No data collection
Snipit does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
2. No internet access
The Snipit app does not ask for internet access. It has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising SDK. It cannot send data anywhere.
3. Backups are yours
If you make a backup, Snipit creates a password-locked .snipit file on your phone. You choose where it goes (Files, email, a cloud drive, or anywhere else). Snipit does not send the file anywhere, and SisigLabs never receives it.
4. App lock uses your phone's own check
If you turn on the app lock, Android checks your fingerprint, face or phone PIN. Snipit only learns whether the check passed. It does not receive or store any biometric data.
5. Home-screen widgets
If you add a Snipit widget, it shows names and dates from your trackers on your own home screen. Amounts appear only if you turn them on, and with App lock on the widget only says that Snipit is locked. Nothing is sent anywhere.
6. Snipit's cards and links
Snipit shows its own cards at the bottom of Home and Trackers (our sponsors, what's new, help and ways to support Snipit). They are built into the app and arrive with app updates; nothing is downloaded and nothing is counted. Tapping one opens this website in your browser, and a sponsor's link on this website opens the sponsor's page. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
7. This website
This website has no sign-up, no cookies and no analytics of its own. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. Your light or dark choice is saved in your own browser only.
8. If you email us
If you email support@sisiglabs.click, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't share them.
9. Your rights
Snipit holds no data about you, so there is nothing to request or delete from a server. All your data is on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it.
10. Children
Snipit is not designed for children. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age of consent.
11. Changes to this policy
If Snipit ever gains network access or any data collection, this policy will be updated here first, with the date above.
